What is SculpSure?

How does it work?

Instead of surgery, SculpSure’s laser uses heat to destroy fat cells.* These cells are targeted underneath the skin’s surface, so you will not experience any damage to your skin.* By raising the temperature on fat cells, their structural integrity is destroyed.* Over the next few months, the damaged fat cells are then processed and discharged from the body naturally through the lymphatic system.* Once these cells are destroyed and extracted, they will not regenerate.*

What happens during treatments?

Dr. Taaly Silberstein begins the SculpSure treatment by cooling the skin to keep her patients comfortable. This cooling continues throughout the treatment. Dr. Silberstein then treats the fat cells by targeting them with laser energy, cycling between the on and off position. When the laser is on, the patient may notice tingling and warmth in the area treated.* The entire process will take about 25 minutes, making it the perfect appointment to schedule during your lunch break. After your appointment, you can return your daily routine immediately.*

What can I expect from the results?

Most patients require two treatments with SculpSure in order to achieve their desired result, though the number of treatments will vary from patient to patient.* After an initial consultation, Dr. Silberstein will provide more information, along with an estimate of the number of treatments you will need. Results will vary, but most patients notice results as soon as 6 weeks after the procedure.* In most cases, optimal results usually appear up to 12 weeks after SculpSure.*
